Personal Experience & Biography
Basar started his career at Citibank N.A. and has held a series of senior management positions in banking. Following his banking career, Basar played a key role as a turnaround Group CEO for major conglomerates in and outside Turkey. Since 2004, he has been involved in M&A, financial, and turnaround advisory services. He is the founder of Pergo Corporate Finance and the co-founder of CBP Invest.
Basar holds a B.Sc. Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University-UK and an MBA from Bogazici University in Turkey. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an Alumnus of IMD-Switzerland.
